One Srimushnam Ariachar[ Hariyachar] was residing at Thirukkambuliur, about 7 km from Chinthalavadi towards karur, leading a pious life.Oneday SriNarasimha appeared in his dream and told that in the Cauveryshore at Karuppathur, one doby is washing clothes on the back of his sculpture, and asked him To bring it install it.As instructed Ariachar went to Karuppathur cauveryshore. To his surprise the doby Also had a dream, SriNarasimha asking him to handover the stone to Ariayachar.Ariachar carried the stone towards thirukkambuliur.
When he reached Chinthalavadi the stone was weighing too much and he could not carry it further. At Chinthalavadi Vyasarayaru had already installed Mukhyaprana and Anjaneya.
